I was born in Bergen County and I still live here.I wrote the poem 'Live Your Life' when I was 13 years old. when I was fifteen or so I wrote the Poem called 'The Flood From Love'
I was introduced to poetry in Catholic School where we had poetry contests and Three people from a class recited a poem in front of an audience on stage. I was in them reciting poetry with expression with my hands and voice. I have 4 nieces and 8 nephews.I love being a good aunt.I Learned to enjoy poetry at school.
The poem Live your life my mother uses this poem to help people coping with life. Take each moment day to day do not throw your life away at times I have to remember what I wrote to get through my life.
I love writing about all different subjects.I draw and paint also when I take pictures of nature it was luck. timing is everything when taking a photo of nature.
Life is always a challenge
it has nothing to do with age
Life never stops changing as long as you are alive
this is just the beginning of an idea about life there is more to come
like this thought too.
think about if you could catch a butterfly after you catch it
you need to let it go
and let it fly
just like life

Wings Of A Butterfly
I saw a butterfly on a flower flapping colorful wings.
I reached my hand out to grab the wings but it flew away.
I could wander faraway while chasing this.
And feel as free as the butterfly.
Because it is so hard to catch it
Moving away and reaching so high.
I just wanted to hold it in my hand
And see the beautiful colors.
Even if I caught the butterfly in my hand
I have to let it go.
So I did not wander far and I did not try to catch the butterfly
I just let it fly away

sirens pass quickly by red lights flashing what could it be is there is a fire , is anyone hurt nearby or is someone sick now there is an ambulace, I ask why 1 now the thunder comes with rain this is frightening as I run quickly inside with so much to gain now I see lightning and the bolts luckily I aJuly 19, 100 words. → Make first comment?
