Alright, time to get back into the swing of things.
Poetry for me is something that has recently become a major part in my life. I used to write it all the time for fun, and then suddenly gave up on it. Now I'm in a poetry class in college, and realizing I still enjoy writing it. I've also changed my style yet again; it has never stayed the same, and I doubt it ever will.
I write excessive amounts of poetry now, and I find that it IS all about the mood I'm in, and my surroundings, that influence what I write.
I do enjoy criticizm as well. I'm not saying tear my work to pieces and hand the shreds to me, but if a stanza needs improving or you've got some feedback or an interpretation, I'd like to hear it.
For kicks and giggles, heres a bit about me: I love college, I have a cat named Imp whom I adore, my favorite flowers are Tulips, I'm a creative Writing major, I want to go to Germany next semester, I'm currently writing a play, I want to open a bakery, I love strawberries, I enjoy spoiling people, my favorite movie is Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, I'm thinking about getting a pet hedgehog, Christopher Lloyd, Dustin Hoffman and Robin Williams are my favorite actors, I love anime and Manga, I own all the Redwall books, my favorite word is Super, I'm addicted to naps, and that's about all of your time I will waste.
I will probably think of more insightful things to post AFTER I am done here. So I may add more at a later time.
Yesterday, or more specifically, April 29th 2009, was my third year anniversary for this site. Let me say I am grateful for being a member this long. I love this site.
