VanquishedEnigmaShow poetry

Recently I've discovered a love for all the beauty the world can provide.

This can be the simple beauty of a rose, the uniform pattern of scrapes my chair has made on my dorm's tile, the multiform markings of the wood grain on a pipe, or the complex structure of a woman's face.

Elio Carletti said "Beauty is a summation of the parts working together in such a way that nothing is need to be altered, added, or taken away."

This is what I see in the world, and much of what I write about.

I prefer not to write about the dark instances of my past, because there is so much to look forward to.

So that's what I write: what I observe now, what lies ahead.

Much to the same effect, Max Lucado said "You can dedicate a decade of anxious thoughts to the brevity of life and not extend it by one minute. Worry accomplishes nothing."
