My poetry consists of two types...and sometimes they come together.
Emotional and Philosophical.
In my philosophical pieces I recommend that you do not take the words and the form too seriously but to try to apply the ideas presented in the work as concepts that reflect your own perception of reality. Many people do not understand that and try to take a philosophy that I have written....and critique it based upon their idea that it should be like every other poem where someone has a deep emotion that needs to be let out. Not that I don't have those...but the difference is very apparent in my poems.
I have one request for those who decide to read my philosophical poetry....if you do not understand the piece for some reason....do not bother talking with me about it. If you think you have an understanding however....please speak with me because i would like to hear your perception on my reality.
