UnderThePickleTreeShow poetry

My name is Gaylin and I'm seventeen.

I consider myself an intellectual and an artist.

When I speak, I stammer. I can hardly ever say
what I truly mean.

I got tired of trying to explain myself
all the time because of my seemingly
unintelligent ramblings,
so I began to write.

I realized it was a hobby when I was 11.
I realized it was a passion when I was 15.

My writing style is changing, so I've recently
been experiencing a little difficulty in molding
my words into what they're meant to be,
so please be patient with them.

I think that my greatest gift in life
is the ability to see things for
more than what they are.

I love nature, I love love, and I love life.

Will you join me?

Hello to my good AP friend.
I see improvement in every separate poem of yours. You constantly evolve as a poet, and I think that's great. Most poets get stuck in the level they're at, but you don't accept that, you keep pushing yourself. (: Keep it up.

Happy Easter to you too. Received our palms in church this morning and then had a procession throughout the church and back to our seats again. Lots of events planned for the week. Thanks for your well wishes.
