Uncle Jimmy

I recently became old. I love to write poetry but I'm a lousy judge of what's good about my work
or that of others for that matter. I do believe that one should say what one feels without searching for million dollar words
that only serve to confuse.
Basically, what you see with me is what you get. My heart, my soul and my emotions are worn (pardon the cliche) on my sleeve.

I thought I had put an entry in your guestbook, but I find I was wrong. How did that happen? Well, I'm here now and I want to tell you how very glad I am that I've found you. It's nice to have friends in foreign lands, isn't it? I hope people are kind to you here and that you blossom as a writer. The desire of all of us, I think. Come by and chat sometime. Cynthia
