I like poems. I have always been able to relate to them. When I was younger, music was just noise, and paintings were just colored stuff smeared on canvas. but poetry was always poetry.
I come from a long line of druids, practitioners of an ancient form of magic that includes poetry as one of its central spiritual disciplines. so poetry has always had profound meaning for me, and I believe that poetry can cause immense changes in individuals and the world.
Besides writing poetry, I enjoy spending time in nature, and in my more freewheeling days i used to dissappear into the wilderness for months at a time. It was the only way I could externalize the loneliness that I sometimes felt with/in me. and it was a helluva adventure
I have a spouse and two children, and I'm currently working on my first novel, which I hope to finish in 2007.
