My Poetry

  • When ever you are in a depth of darkness, open the closed eyes, there in the far corner waiting for you, stands a brightly lit candle

Tinkling laughter can be heard in the background
Reversing the pain that is hidden deep within
Uncovered hurt cutting rivulets into the heart
    Eventually causing withdrawal into oneself

Banished there the mind travels and seeks to
Liberate the thoughts that encompass it
    Undying feelings and emotions filling
Every nook and cranny until gloom descends

Lifting up the eyes to face another day
In the depth of sorrow, seeking to find solace
Eager to lie silently under the covers, still,
Sanity overcomes oppression and another day is won.
