Hello!!!! My name is Leigh(LEE-AH) Schluter. I'm 20 years old, my birthday is November, 15 1987, and I live in Austin, Texas. I love to write poetry and when I was told about this website from a friend, I freaked! My writing style leads towards degrading (of myself) or ranting anger(at my parents). Y'know the cliche. Sometimes there is a love poem or two. And a few about things that I hate (like rape, insest, and abortion).
I LOVE reading and I do that if I'm not writting. I have so many favorite books that it would take me a few hours to list them. People think I'm crazy because I read really really fast and my parents hate it because they are assholes who think that reading and writing is for people with no lives. I'd like them to meet all of you guys!
Let's see... I would describe myself as: Spontanious, Passionate, Humorus, Competative, a Hopeless Romantic, Perverted, and a horible speller.
Other People see me as: Spontanious, Passionate, Humorus, Competative, Creative, Mysterious, Outgoing, Smart, Energetic, A Born Leader, Compassionate (?), Perverted, and a horible speller.
GOOD MUSIC: Linkin Park, Evanesence, Fly Leaf, Kitty, Korn, Godsmack, Didturbed, Mudvayne, 3 Doors Down, Demon Hunter, Dead Poetic, Emery, A Perfect Circle, Coheed and Cambria, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, ECT.
GOOD MOVIES: Merlin (with Sam Neil), Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Count of Monte Cristo, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (new one), Corpse Bride, ECT.
This is a sample of a thirty second poem. HaHa... I'm thinking about extending it into a song but, I'm not the song writer type, so maybe not...

The black falls quick
Covering my world in darkness
My mind is pulled away from me
Leaving me...empty
The clock slowly ticks
Moving my world that is heartless
My mind wishes for me see
But I am...empty

TwistedTatum on January 24, 2006It may not be because he wants be all horo-ish or anything. Maybe its something he needs to do in his life. 3 years in ROTC helps me understand stuff like that. I got talk to a lot of people who did the same thing as Ben, so maybe thats just a step in his life that he needs to go through..... Steve-o too.
