I have decided to leave AllPoetry and StoryWrite indefinitely.

This is partly because I have lost touch with the people I admired here and with whom I enjoyed exchanging critiques. It has proven difficult to make new connections here with people who take pride in their writing.

The new site designs are disappointing and a little annoying, to be honest.

I am moving to a new site, storiesmania.com, to post my poems and short stories. The site is based on an interactive community, as is AllPoetry, I know; but the difference lies in the quality of the comments and the sincere efforts of the members to better their talents.

I have picked my favorites out of my own poems and stories to take with me to StoriesMania. I will continue to add new pieces there. If you're interested, you can find me at that site under the name Hazel.

I will be checking in here now and again, as there are still one or two writers I know personally whose poems I enjoy. I also might be holding a contest to get rid of all my points; after all, why keep them now?

If I have offended anyone by stating my personal reasons for seeking a place better suited to what I need, then I apologize. But please don't send me hate messages, because I'm not bashing this site or anyone here. I'm not trying to lead a revolution. o.O
