This site: www.xanga.com/Kapitana has my writing/posting updates on it.. if you subscribe you'll get an e-mail every time I post about something I've recently written. Also there's my new myspace: Lotus_Madder where I post things in my blog.
I've been writing poetry for almost 9 years now. I've been published in 4 contests to date and in a magazine, as well as in a local writing project.
I write fiction, essays, and poetry. Among my prose works I've written historical fiction, young adult fiction, and fantasy. I enjoy reading fiction, especially horror and fantasy-comedies and regular young adult and adult fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, not all necessarily in English. I write in English and Spanish.
I've studied Spanish, Italian, French, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Hebrew, Latin, Polish, and Portuguese, but I am only bilingual.
I took my serious poems and stories off the Internet due to one of my poems being plagiarized. It sucks, I know, but the site on which the plagiarist has the poem (eliteskills.com) is doing nothing to remedy the problem, and with that sort of management on writing sites on the Internet I don't want to chance that any of my other serious projects would be stolen.

Andy Stephenson on March 24, 2006Hi, If I can be of any service at Allpoetry, I await. Please feel free to add me to your favorites if you wish.
Your comments need to be about 2 1/2 lines to get critique credit and points, but you may already know that. Thanks for entering my contest. -
David Houston on February 11, 2006Hello Sacha, it's me again and I thinkl I know why you are not getting many people to write you back. i just wrote a very long and detailed i.m. and it wouldn't send. I think it is because of all those symbols. I think you should change your name to just Sacha with maybe a number like 7 or something. Your name xOx Sacha xOx is really a pain to type and people see that and when they try and type it once or twice and it doesn't work they just quit! I tried like seven times??? There is definately a problem with that as I tried it again before I just edited this! I will get back to you again. Best wishes
Edited on Feb 11, 8:31 p.m. because 'typos and I tried to i.m. again'. -
David Houston on February 5, 2006Hi Sacha, thanks for leaving those kind words under my recent riddle. I like your honesty and that will hopefully serve you well as a writer. I am so sick of dishonest writers who would sell their souls rather than do it the good, old-fashioned way, which is hard work. K, k, k, I'm spouting-- sorry, but ahem, and the answer you requested is "PLAY"-- just what we all need everyday and night, And now it's curtains, g-bye, and best wishes! David
