I'm 19.

Some days are better than others. And I love and I love and I love...


It pisses the hell out of me when people click on the featured box and don't comment. I'm so anal about this that when I'm browsing the featured box, I click on the person's author page, read the poem they featured without wasting any of their points , and if I like it enough to comment, I click on their featured link and do so. Win-win. So don't say "I had nothing to say about it." That can be true, but don't waste my hard earned points!!


I don't have a tortured soul, I don't cut myself, I'm not suicidal, I'm not a vampire or a goth. I write because it makes sense, and because I have to. My mind tells me to write. So I do.

I intensely dislike generic poetry about cutting, suicide or love. Those subjects can be very well done, but as it is now, they are generally badly overdone. And cliché.


I like poetry because it means I don't have to think in complete thoughts in order to write.

    I hear what you're saying about featured points. I do the same thing you do. But I've never found a way to keep the point wasters from clicking my stuff. If you do, let me know.

    "i write because it makes sense, and because i have to. my mind tells me to write. so i do." - save those words, because one day they'll come in handy when somebody's quoting you! your author info is interesting, i agree with everything you said. i write for the same exact reasons. and about the featured box, thanks for posting that-- i never realized i was wasting people's points when i clicked on links, so now i'll be more careful!

    I love your author page! I give a hearty "Amen" to your comments about those who don't comment after clicking on a feature item. Grrrrrrr............. I've considered listing their names on my author's page to expose them, lol (seriously,though) I, like you, don't get into all the cutting and slicing and stuff that seems to be an attraction to so many.
