I started writing, when I was 6. Just stories and such. But i never knew that as I got older, I would start another art, something i had never done before. Poetry. I was 12 when i wrote my first poem, in English class, and it was the most fun I had ever had. Knowing I was good. Poetry tells a story, my story.
Heres something from my new project:
Introduction
This is a book
all about me
the way things look
the things I've seen
Everything your about to read
is all real
because I wanted to lead
what I want you to feel
I've been down roads
loose and bumpy
and some of that is the reason
why sometimes I seem grumpy
Times have made me happy
and sometimes sad
and some of the things that happened
are why I sometimes seem so mad
Theres so many things
that happen and we dont know why
just enjoy what you've got while it lasts
cause time flies by
I wanted to thank
friends and enemies
because I wouldn't be able to write this
if you hadnt done what you did for me
I thank God everyday
for this gift I recieved
its so good in every way
that sometimes its hard to be believed
Thank my parents
for bringing me into this world
cause if not for them
I would have never been heard
This is my story
and everything is real
this is my treasure
and everything I want you to feel.
