G'day everybody my name is Timmy S. Edgar and i am 34 years old and i come from Cairns, Tropical Far North Queensland yet i currently live in Sydney. i have been writing poetry for about 15 years yet have only been writing seriously foe about 5 years now i have been publishe with my poem "Cats" being published in an american poetry almanic.
Founding Director & CEO of The SuPeRbands Network Timmy Edgar; developed The SuPeRbands concept from conditions he had witnessed first hand of how young musicians seemed to have limited control over their direction regarding their employment performing at gigs. Seeing this consistently happen, Timmy arduously endeavored to set changes in place within his local booking area with a view of making adjustment's in regards to improving pay conditions for the bands, who he was personally associated with; to no avail, with his efforts in regards to these issues in meetings with venue managers and bookers met with friction and reluctance to change.
With his experience working within the entertainment industry; Timmy's background stems from hotel management, hotel entertainment booking & booking direct to venues via a leading booking agency, with these industry skills Timmy worked within all areas of the entertainment booking arena & seen how the owners of agencies and hotel/venue managers were determining how much income the musicians were being paid for their services.
Timmy began to realize that his attempts to make these changes were never going to make a difference within the industry as long as he was working for companies as a sub-ordinate. With this realization, Timmy decided that if he was ever going to make any kind of significant difference to the degree that he desired within The Unsigned & Independent Music Industry, he would have to establish his own company to obtain unrestricted control over putting in place his concept processes in order to deliver the Superbands Concept the way he designed it.
