*INTRODUCTION*
My name is Lestat. That is the only name I shall ever provide and use here of my own free will. Only my true friends may use my real name. As I am sure you can tell by now, I am very eccentric in my own way. I take pride in that.
I've been writing for most of my life, although I've never had anything published beyond a high school newspaper or college term paper report or pursued a professional occupation in such. I tend to lean more toward darker themes. I have a bit of the Cirque du Freak personality, and though I cling tightly to my erratic way of individuality, some would plop me into a label of "gothic/dark/scary..etc" and leave it to rest. I beg to differ. I am quite capable of a variety of writing styles, moods and themes. A majority of my work is dark, depressing and moody, however, my belief is that one should vent when stressed and relieve oneself of such distressing negative feelings, and instead keep the postive happy ones in. And I vent best through writing or music.
I am somewhat of a conflict of political and military interests and biases. I am an armybrat and extremely supportive of the troops, regardless of my poor opinion of the government and its hosts of discrepancies. I am a strong activist for the GLBT community, Gay Civil Rights and Constitutional "Marriage"/Civil Union rights.
I am extremely opionated and often have a very volatile and explosive temper-which frequently shows in my writing. Just another way to prevent from taking out such attitudes on the general public. Well, hope you enjoy my work...if not, move along..plenty more to see in the world. The only point to writing for me is my enjoyment, amusement, and emotional/psychological/spiritual expression. I write for no one save for myself. If it were not the case, there would be no reason to pick up a pen, would there?
**Note: On Saturday, May 16, 2009 I married my college sweetheart, my one and only, the man of my dreams, the love of my life, William, and we are expecting our first child due January 01, 2010! Wish us the best of luck, eh?!***
