My name is Marisa! My pen name is Avonne(Uh-Von) Reese. Avonne is my middle name and Reese is my nickname. I'm just a teenager who is trying to find her place in this world. I write from what I'm feeling. Some of my work could be considered dark, depressing, or emo, but that's how I feel. I haven't met one person yet who truly understands how I feel and why I feel the way that I do. Sometimes, I feel I'm so different, so difficult and complex that God doesn't know how to help me. It's not true, but at times I would beg to differ. I can write uplifting poems. I love to write about hopes and dreams. That's all I have that no one can ever take away. No matter how much they try...
