I am a 56 year old ex-pat Brit, now an Australian citizen, living in the beautiful city of Adelaide in South Australia. I have 2 sons, both grown up, wonderful young me of whom I am very proud.
I love dogs, birds, tropical fish - particularly Discus - and I love reading and writing poetry.
I was taught to appreciate poetry, and then encouraged to write it, by an English teacher, Mr Blackwell, way back in 1964.
I wrote until about 1972 then stopped. No idea why. After I met Sasha in 2002 - she was the lady who was to become my second wife - I was inspired by her to start writing again. and I've hardly stopped since then.
Most of my poems are about love and romance but Sasha has encouraged me to experiment with other subjects and forms.
I hope that you enjoy them and I look forward to critiques that will help me improve my craft.
By the way - I adore my Sasha!
