I love writing and I love reading other people's poetry. I've found that it's one of the best ways for me to express all of the things that I see around me or to describe all of the things I'm feeling and thinking about. A lot of the time I'm pretty vague, but other times my stuff can be pretty personal and hard to understand.
I love it when people read my stuff and offer their opinions. It helps me to get a feel for how I'm doing and improve things for the next time I write something. So if you have the time and can tolerate my stuff, I'd appreciate it if you could tell me what you think.
O and just so you know; considering how hopeless some of my poems may sound or come across, I am not hopeless at all. I am a Christian and I have my full faith and trust in my savior. However that doesn't mean that I don't have my fair share of problems. The majority of my poems stem from personal experience on some level, but they are not always meant to be taken literally. So I would just recommend that you read my stuff with an open mind. I guess that probably makes this all seem way more serious than it really is, but I know that sometimes the things I write can make some people concerned. Regardless, thanks for reading!
"They sold the old house
Boarded up the rooms just the way you wanted
They took your possessions
Gave them all away with the ghosts
You sing like the wind in the trees at night
You think I'm asleep but I'm awake for it
You think you can hide so easily
That no one ever hears you"
