In the early mist
of another day
the sunlight breaks
though my window.
My insane existence
yet continues.
Faces pass me by,
with false salutations
of good will,
tethered with coffee
and ghosts
who ask for smokes
and contributions
to support my demise.
Out from glare of insincerity
that fills the world,
comes a poet with no agenda,
other then to bring joy
and a hope to us all.
I wonder if she knows what it means to me?
Her passing beauty
in words and verse,
beckons the best in me.
Her work of love and literature
far surpass
our common goals
of selfishness.
Her poems speak to us
like a friend who loves us,
a friend we miss so much,
a feeling we thought was gone,
gone with our young idealistic ways
of how we thought the world should be.
Like a cork screw to my heart,
she reminds me
that magic still is within us,
because it comes from within her.
No man would wonder down the cobblestones to search for any treasure once her words were placed in their hearts.
The tired hobo that longs for home,
the manic gypsy that never wanted stay...
she is the angel that they wish would fly close to the ground,
just hear her words.
Night falls now,
I see not her face,
only the words that she has given me.
Think not of possessing her,
for she will never leave you.
Her words like a lullaby
will stay with you as each evening comes.
Her eminence heart will surround you,
her words like a prayer will quell your soul,
and with the new morning,
she will bring the sun

"At Night She Comes"
At night she comes, the one I love;
when no one is around.
The gaurdsmen are asleep above,
and I, locked underground.
With chains and ropes they bind me there,
the sun I rarely see;
but just to know my lover cares,
is light enough for me.
She tells me of the world outside;
the moon, the stars, the sky;
and although from my eyes they hide,
I see them passing by.
The sun once more begins to rise,
her leave she must now take;
yet as we say our sad goodbyes,
the prison starts to shake.
No longer do I have to stay,
locked up inside my fear.
For love has given me this day;
and someone to hold dear.

+x “INTERESTING FACT ABOUT ME“: Well, I am a red head, which the gene tends to skip every other generation in our family…and I have a oval shaped birthmark on my left hip. I am also a A- in blood type, and there are only 15% of that certain blood type in the entire world and I am lucky to be apart of that number!I do have a morbid and strange way of humor (but I honestly don’t know if that is interesting or not) I’m pretty much a boring person! ;o) Some stupid and interesting this about me is that I hate clowns...my best friend is a complete punk (yeah, I know a goth and a punk...but we DO manage not to kill each other), I can be really spaced and wacked out when I had too many Monster engery drinks(along with singing "Anarchy in the UK by The Sex Pistols;and I laugh way to much), and my best punkalious best friend keeps me laughing with her Tre Cool jokes (By the way...he's from Green Day...just in case you just didn't know that

+x MY LIFE: I am a freshman currently attending Liberty University Online- a major in Christian psychology and a minor in Biblical Theology.
I enjoy writing dark and gothic style poetry, reading mystery and dark books along with poetry books, researching and studying demonology and serial killers ( don’t worry, I AM NOT a serial killer. Since I am going for psychology, I enjoy studying the mind, remember that!!),photography, psychology, and music. Even though I really don't believe in stereotyping, but I suppose the category that I would be considered would be Goth. Yes, believe it or not, I am a Christian AND a Goth.
Currently working in the summer time at Camp Sonrise Mountain as kitchen prep (which means we prepare and serve food to campers. The number ranges each week to 50-120 kids)
My personality also inspires me on how I view things in life. I can be influenced by nature, feelings of the day, opinions, and even the horrific roar of death metal. I read a lot of the time as well, and writings from Edgar Alan Poe. Kevin Max, Anne Rice, Shakespeare, and bio's about serial killers also inspire my writings at times.

+ x RELIGION: I am a firm believer in not believing in some sort of religion. I am a complete believer and follower my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I do not agree with calling myself a Christian, for the fact that everyone has come to the conclusion of being called a Christian. Most persons believes in ‘god’, but they do not believe in Jesus Christ. I will not associate myself with hypocrites that claim to be ‘Christians’. I do not consider myself ‘religious’, because I do not have a religious feeling for Jesus Christ, I have a complete relationship with Him. Also, I would more than willingly die for my faith in Christ.
+x MY STYLES OF MUSIC :Many things inspire my poetry writing. Mostly my feelings from music from bands such as:
Megadeth, Alice in Chains, Jerry Cantrell, Alice Cooper, Stone Temple Pilots, Faith No More, Bad Religion, The Ramones, Sex Pistols, Kittie, Pantera, Razorblade, Rob Zombie, Extol, Disciple, Inhale Exhale, Demon Hunter, Living Sacrifice, As I Laying Dying, The Agony Scene, Showbread, The Dreaming, Norma Jean, Kevin Max, UnderOath, Nine Inch Nails, SPooKy KiDs, and a choice of songs from Marilyn Manson. I also like classic rock: The Doors, Led Zepplin, Van Morrison, Jimi Hendrix,Black Sabbath...and also Celtic rock/punk: Enter the Haggis, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, and Flatfoot 56. So many bands to name!
There is never a day that goes by that I do not listen to music. It is my way of escaping the day and just being taken away by the beautiful words by my favorite songwriters such as: Kevin Max, Mike Patton, Kevin Young, Dave Mustaine, Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison, Van Morrison, Trent Reznor, ect.

there is a HIM biography you can get that is very useful, i have it myself.interviews on youtube help you see ore about the man himself so you can see reasons for lyrics.and look for when hes talking about songs in particular.
google is usually a good starting point.but in reality the best thing to do is compare what was going on in this life and how old he was to the newest album out at the time.dark light was round the worse time for him and when he gathered much maturity (turning 30 and stuff) and to an extent you can see what it does in the lyrics.especially if you compare to venus doom where he is either at his worse or getting healthy, but also his relationship falling apart like a wet cake.
but lyrics are all about personal interpretation and you will always find fans talking about his lyrics and how they have affected them personally more than the fans of any other band.Ville Valo is a walking inspiration to millions out there, and to me.
