The Orange ManShow poetry

wave thou art pretty
wave thou art why
wave thou art music
wave wave
arise

wave thou art preety
wave thou art high
wave to thy city
wave wave
goodbye

-patti smith-

'any woman born, having
what any woman born cannot but have,
has as much of the world as is worth more
than wit or lucky looks can make worth more;
and I, having what i have as a man
got without choice, and what i have chosen,
city and neighbour and work, am poor enough
to be more than bettered by a worst woman.
Whilst I am this muck of man in this
muck of exsistance, I shall not seek more
than a muck of a woman: wit and luck looks
were a ring disabling this pig-snout,
and a tin clasp on this diamond.'

-Ted Hughes-

"To sleep: perchance to dream: aye, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause...who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscover'd country from whose bourn
No traveler returns..."
