My Poetry style is as multidimensional as I am. It is mostly slam poetry/spoken word but some is just for the page. My poetry speaks for itself. I touch on everything from love, death, and war, to lust, hate, and nature. A lot of my poetry content reflects life and views of the slums, along with things experienced there. I am a revolutionary, non-conformist type and my poetry contains strong anti-imperialism/anti-bush views, even though I am a Babylonian (American) myself.
Please keep in mind I write how I articulate! Yes, I check my spelling, but more times the words are supposed to be spelled like that. This is for expression purposes. So, to all who really think that ALL poetry should be spell checked and politically correct, I have only 2 words for you! I am not in any aspect “suburban”! I am what the media would call “urban”. If any of my work was edited or changed, it would not truly be me. I can only write what I feel; my pen will never be pressured.
Poetry is an art; this should never be either correct or incorrect.
The soul in its natural form is naked, and all that comes from that should be.
