I'm an 19 year old girl (woman?) from Canada, Nova Scotia. I don't write a whole lot anymore for whatever reason my muse seems to have disappeared into the abyss. I'm trying to get back into it though, I love being able to express myself in poetry. It's an awesome release for me.
I write free verse 'cause I don't like being confined to rules.
About me? Well like I said I'm 19 and from N.S. I've got a younger sister who is 17 and who I'm extremely close to (see my poem 'I Promise I'll Never'). I miss her terribly (sometimes) now that I'm living in a different province.
I'm Pagan and practice TradCraft.
I started my second year of university in September, I'm doing a double major in history and archaeology.
I work at the local science centre as an interpreter, which is fun. Basically I wander around answering questions when people have them, and give demos (kiddy science experiments, like what happens when you put things in liquid nitrogen).

Cyrik : So rested he by the Tumtum tree, and stood awhile in thought. on November 23, 2006I was drawn here for two reasons. One, because I saw that you left a fabulous (and helpful!) comment on a poem a friend of mine wrote. (She's new here at AP.) And two, because I saw your name again on the list of Reward poetry. (And three, because you have a really cool name! Love that poem!!)
I've read a couple of your poems and have really really enjoyed them. I don't have the mood within me at this moment to give you any proper critiques, but I do plan to return.

Cappucine C on April 20, 2006I noticed your system of judging? critiquing? on NoWayJo's poem Arbeit Macht Frei (allpoetry.com/poem/1511787). I really think that is an excellent idea, and I've never seen it before.
Kudos to you!
