Ok here it is - I dont know a stanza from an albatross but I know what I like to read and what I like to write. If I host a contest I wont berate you for grammer or form as long as it funny, poignant or relevant - I'm no poetry snob !

Sometimes I like to write humour sometimes if something painful happens in my life I will write about that - reluctantly at first until I realised just how much it helps.

I always used to write as a kid and then stopped for about 30 years - but I have picked up the pen ( well keyboard) again and started musing.

I hope you enjoy them - if you do tell me - if you dont - then tell me also !

I am enjoying catching up with all the poetry on here and so far the standard is very very high so I better raise my game a bit I think!

If you have stopped by sign my guest book so I know you've been and I will reciprocate - and if you read any of my mad ramblings then let me know what you think even if its not nice! - If I read yours and I dont applaud its not because I dont like them its probably because I dont have any points to award just yet - I really REALLY cant get my head round how that works just yet despite people telling me over and over again!

UPDATE
Six weeks now on AP and loving every minute of it - met some wonderful people and some awesome poets!
I'm trying to change my style from the inane funny ha ha to some serious stuff also - so if you come across me have a look through the lists - I'm not all funny funny I do have a soul!
