My name is Delia (pronounced Deel-yah). Not Deliah. Not Delilah. Delia. Get it right.

I'm actually a published author (well, if you count one short story published in "Anthology Of Short Stories by Young Americans" being published) and I'm working on several books right now...I haven't finished any yet.

I really, really, REALLY want a boyfriend like Spencer Shea from iCarly. Not kidding. He's such a sweetheart! Especially during that episode when he dated Carly's history teacher...when he went in for the conference and cheered her up... He's so SWEET!

I would be remiss if I did not mention that my best friend in the whole universe is on Allpoetry! She introduced me to this site, gave me her name, but I could not find her until two years later! Her name is Shannanagan. We were friends when she still lived in NY, but then she moved and I didn't see her for several YEARS! Then she made a surprise appearance, and since then we see each other every summer. She comes to my house, and I go to her aunt's 4th of July party. She is very important in my life. She was at my Mormon baptism, she sticks by me when the going gets tough, and she and I are the most awesome weird people you will ever meet! What I would do without her, I'll never know.

My favorite bands are mostly because of my mom. She has the greatest taste in music. Others are just ones I heard on the radio. I also put in the songs for fun. I'm a serious music lover (if it's not obvious)

My name is Chris I am three, My eyes are swollen I cannot see, I must be stupid I must be bad, What else could have made My daddy so mad? I wish I were better I wish I weren't ugly, Then maybe my mommy Would still want to hug me. I cant do a wrong I cant speak at all Or else I'm locked up All day long. When I'm awake I'm all alone The house is dark My folks aren't home When my mommy does come home I'll try and be nice, So maybe ill just get One whipping tonight. I just heard a car My daddy is back From Charlie's bar. I hear him curse My name is called I press myself Against the wall I try to hide From his evil eyes I'm so afraid now I starting to cry He finds me weeping Calls me ugly words, He says its my fault He suffers at work. He slaps and hits me And yells at me more, I finally get free And run to the door Hes already locked it And I start to bawl, He takes me and throws me Against the hard wall I fall to the floor With my bones nearly broken, And my daddy continues With more bad words spoken, "I'm sorry!", I scream But its now much to late His face has been twisted Into a unimaginable shape The hurt and the pain Again and again O please God, have mecy! O please let it end! And he finally stops And heads for the door While i lay there motionless Brawled on the floor My name is Chris I am three, Tonight my daddy Murdered me And you can help Sickens me top the soul, And if you read this and don't pass it on I pray for your forgiveness Because you would have to be One heartless person To not be effected By this Poem And because your effected, Do something about it!
