Hello there. I'm Kari. Poetry means a lot to me. I've been hurt and broken in the past and poetry always helped me get by. Therefore, I usually spend a lot of time and put a lot of thought into them. So, I hope you enjoy my writings!
*Little Girl*
Little girl don't you cry
Little girl dry your eyes
My little girl, why must you shake?
My little girl, why must your heart break?
Poor little girl, know who you are
Poor little girl, wish upon that star
Little girl don't you lie
Little girl I need you by my side
My little girl don't know who she is
She wants bliss, but all she can feel is this:
Sorrowful cries,
Powerful lies
Things that make her shake,
Things that make that fragile heart break
My little girl, you don't stand alone
My little girl, your heart is not stone
Please remember,
Poor little girl,
Who's here for you
And the words I say:
"This life is cursed,
Forever may it be night,
Dark and grey,
But I'll love you 'til the break of day."
