Hi! I was previously Mutilated Triumphs (if anyone really cared) and I changed my username out of secrecy.....if anyone really was wondering. I love to write poetry and I've been writing for ages now! I try out a bunch of different styles since I never can seem to find one that I can hold out on for a long length of time. I live to praise, so I comment all the time! I'm sorry if I seem sort of critical, though...I don't mean it harshly! I have a pretty long list of favorite poets here at AP, and I really enjoy reading new ones and adding to that list! Well...I guess that's it!
*It is said you aren't afraid of dying, but of being forgotten...*
------------------------------------------------------------------
*Tell me a story and I'll write you a prayer*
------------------------------------------------------------------
"Fashion is a form of uglyness so terrible we must alter it every six months." Oscar Wilde
-------------------------------------------------------------------
"Sexual Education in schools isn't a bad thing, but I don't think they should give homework." Bill Cosby
--------------------------------------------------------------------
"The world of first dates and mixed tapes, family dramas and new friends. The world of sex, drugs, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, when all one requires is that perfect song on that perfect drive to feel infinite."-The perks of being a Wallflower.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I remember when getting high meant swinging at the playgrounds, and the worst thing you could get from a boy was cooties. Race issues where only who ran the fastest and who tied. The only thing that you smoked where the tires on your bike. Life was so simple and carefree, but the thing I remember most was wanting to grow up.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I walk in the door and they tell me to smile. They say I should be happy, and all I can do is ask 'how'? How can I be happy when all I can think about is losing you?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
This bed is burning with a tinge of your lust.- Andrew Eisenschenk (supermansdead)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
There was a man back in '95
Whose heart ran out of summers
But before he died, I asked him
Wait, what's the sense in life
Come over me, Come over me
He said,
Son why you got to sing that tune
Catch a Dylan song or some eclipse of the moon
Let an angel swing and make you swoon
Then you will see... You will see
Then he said,
Here's a riddle for you
Find the Answer
There's a reason for the world
You and I...
Picked up my kid from school today
Did you learn anything cause in the world today
You can't live in a castle far away
Now talk to me, come talk to me
He said,
Dad I'm big but we're smaller than small
In the scheme of things, well we're nothing at all
Still every mother's child sings a lonely song
So play with me, come play with me
And Hey Dad
Here's a riddle for you
Find the Answer
There's a reason for the world
You and I...
I said,
Son for all I've told you
When you get right down to the
Reason for the world...
Who am I?
There are secrets that we still have left to find
There have been mysteries from the beginning of time
There are answers we're not wise enough to see
He said... You looking for a clue I Love You free...
The batter swings and the summer flies
As I look into my angel's eyes
A song plays on while the moon is hiding over me
Something comes over me
I guess we're big and I guess we're small
If you think about it man you know we got it all
Cause we're all we got on this bouncing ball
And I love you free
I love you freely
Here's a riddle for you
Find the Answer
There's a reason for the world
You and I...
