I. Am. Simply. Me.

Undefinable, yet somehow still loved.
I am an enigma to those around me.
My feelings sway with the breeze.
Yet still I am well loved.

Loved by one who can never truely know.
The inspiration that she brings.
That she gives me the courage to go on,
Has always been air beneath my wings.

Yet still. I am me.
Unimportant, unassuming.
Quiet and sometimes forgettable.
Rarely do I show my true nature.
Soft and sweet and pliable.
Open to the every whim of life.
I ebb and flow like the tide.
Constantly giving and taking
Never to be pushed away.

This is who I am.
