I love writing poems, Ive done it since I was little. I write mostly sad poems, im not really sure why, but I guess thats my style. I'm not that great of a poet, but some comments would be nice! I promise you I'm not a Super Emo kid though, as you may think from my poems. Some of my older poems are my best so check them out too! Jeeze. I like to talk to people Ive never met so IM me!!! My favorite poems that I've written are A picture, Dance with me Until I die, and They should have said it sooner.

i just caught this out of the corner of my eye. on my group board i have a post of suggestions on how i "play" contests. playing contests on this site is like playing the horse track. its not how good you are its how lucky. ive won may trophys. i have certain guidelines i follow. i never enter a contest more than two days before it closes. it will give someone an oppuertunity to out write you as they are casing poems in the contest, which is also something you should do. also chk out the contest holder, see if there is a pattern of fixed contests. repetitive winners. trophy swapping. also i bookmark new contests, not necessarily ones i would write exclusively for, but ones i may write something that would fit into them. i never if rarely write specifically for a contest, i just cannot write that way, its too restictive. also if im in a contest and they dont judge it within at least 48 hours after closing i pull my poem out and move on, im not on their timeclock. i could be winning antoher contest in the time it takes some ppl to judge and i have. above all, never get discouraged, it isnt worth it. ive known better writers on this site who wont enter contests for the very reason that they are purely selfish. its not about trophys, its not about points. its aobut writing your heart and being true to it.
