My name is Genna. I am only 8 years old and I am a young poet. I love writing poetry about all sorts of things and I believe very strongly that younger poets are just as wise as older poets. I love to make new friends and learning to write poetry in different style's. I am therefore a poetic princess who shines like a rainbow.
FOR A SWEET PRINCESS NAMED GENNA

Young heart filled with inspiration and love,
she blossoms with beauty as she grows everyday.
Writing poetry straight from her heart,
bringing happiness to complete strangers.
She climbs into her bubble and floats away,
protected and held high on the wings of angels.
She sighs as she is returned to her comfortable bed,
the angels place her down and protect her little head.
She falls asleep to their heavenly voices,
leaving her lost in cotton candy clouds of serenity.
