Without my heart, there is no happiness
He's gone to be with family, for now
My arms are lonely, my smile empty
Yet, for the world, I must bow

My soul has fled my presence
So, too, has all my joy
Gone from his loving mama
My Darling little boy

Childless until the government
Decides I'm not abusive
Not a danger to the boy I love most
Who I am right now is elusive

A mom without her child
No firstborn bringing laughter
With his smile so wide
Just a hollow shell of a woman....

A woman in love can't be reasonable - or she probably wouldn't be in love.
~ Mae West (1892-1980), American actress and comedian.

A poem written especially for my son, Little Robin, by his Uncle Mike
(A heartfelt thanks to him):

A blessing to us all - Dewey

Another bonny baby born

Bringing smiles to parent's hearts
Little hands to hold onto
Eyes that sparkle too
Soft tender cuddles
Sweet little kisses
Infant sighs of love received
New life to love and cherish
God blessed you my friend

Took your seed and made it grow
Offering serenity and commitment to the family

Umbrella covered with a mother's care
Soon to be held high in all hearts touched

A son to develop into a man of courage
Let us all be blessed by your child
Let us all give thanks to you for sharing

Devine
Exaltation
Wonderment
Euphoric
Yours

This is the most beautiful Christmas poem I've read!

"The Night Before Christmas" by Michael R. Collings (Micol on AP)

I'm just a down to Earth Independant Fundamental Baptist Christian woman who loves life, sunflowers, poetry, reading, friends, some family, & being myself. I come with a warning : Don't ask if you don't want the answer. Because should I choose to answer, it'll be the truth. Can you handle it? I'm stubborn as all get out, but I will listen to what you have to say. I won't push anything on you or try to. But if you ask, I will answer with what I believe to be the truth. So be prepared! Or don't ask. It's your choice.

I love my God, and if you can't deal with that, it's your problem, not mine. I'm not strictly following my religion, & freely admit it. There are things I personally disagree with, but to find out what those are, you have to get to know me & ask.

☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼

I'm me . I like being me, even when the going gets rough. I'm a country girl at heart, so that might explain a few things. I was born in Cullman, AL. Yep, the Heart of Dixie, & proud to call it my home state! I promise I'm not mean...at least not until you are mean to me.

I love meeting new people...honest. It may not sound like it, but I've had a few problems with people saying untrue & hurtful things, so I put it out there at the beginning.

That glass...what glass?! OK, it's full, not halfway so. Green is my favorite color (in case you were wondering), and MissLady/LadyLette/Shake It Off/cLoWnWaLk is my best friend.

I love to have fun & intelligent conversation is one of the most fun things to do. I'm not a blond or a ditz. Nope, not rich either.

I hope y'all like my poetry, but I have to say, I think Ann's is better. If there's a publisher person out there, I'm looking to publish my poetry!!!!

☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼☼

Have fun, y'all, & read on at your own risk!

No P.S.'s for now!

This was written about my first contest, AP Family:

Why Choose?
When it comes to family,
why should you pick and choose?
Everyone seems so nice,
there is no way you can loose.
Love is flowing from each pen
they all can fill a need
The contest is a success
Makes me want to believe
That life, isn't to be alone
Need help to cush the fall
The entries here are all good
Think you should take them all!

The Bell
I KNOW WHO I AM
I am God's child ( John 1:12).
I am Christ's friend (John 15:15).
I am united with the Lord (1 Cor. 6:17).
I am bought with a price (1 Cor. 6:19-20).
I am a saint (set apart for God). (Eph. 1:1).
I am a personal witness of Christ (Acts 1:8).
I am the salt & light of the earth (Matt. 5:13-14).
I am a member of the body of Christ (1 Cor 12:27).
I am free forever from condemnation (Rom.8: 1-2).
I am a citizen of Heaven. I am significant (Phil.3:20).
I am free from any charge against me (Rom. 8:31-34).
I am a minister of reconciliation for God (2 Cor.5:17-21).
I have access to God through the Holy Spirit (Eph 2:18).
I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realms (Eph. 2:6).
I cannot be separated from the love of God (Rom.8:35-39).
I am established, anointed, sealed by God (2 Cor. 1:21-22).I am assured all things work together for good ( Rom. 8: 28). I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit ( John 15:16)I may approach God with freedom and confidence (Eph. 3: 12). I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil. 4:13).
I am the branch of the true vine, a channel of His life (John 15: 1-5). I am God's temple (1 Cor. 3: 16). I am complete in Christ (Col. 2: 10)I am hidden with Christ in God (Col. 3:3). I have been justified (Romans 5:1).
I am God's co-worker (1 Cor. 3:9; 2 Cor 6:1). I am God's workmanship (Eph. 2:10). I am confident that the good works God has begun in me will be perfected (Phil. 1: 5).
I have been redeemed and forgiven (Col. 1:14). I have been adopted as God's child (Eph 1:5). I belong to God.

Do you know who you are?
Keep this bell ringing!!!
Working for God on Earth does not pay much, but...
His Retirement Plan is out of this world!!!!!!

This is the attempt of an athiest teacher to put Christian students down in front of the whole class. To disprove Christ.

I do not know whether it's true or made up, but I feel that it's a very good story to keep in mind.

  • I've gotten past the debilitating stage of my emotions. I'm still emotional when I get into it, but now, I'm not prone to crying at any given moment. 1 Seeing a child with either their mom or their dad still hurts.
