For Sue

Written for me

Words were strangers, just a tool
When you were a girl in school
Now you lived a life and learnt
All the foolishness you've burnt
Now the words make up your wine
Leading you to all that's fine
Drunk with all the power they give
Words now show you how to live
Releasing all that's real for Sue
The poet is the real you
Thank you Jeff, please go and read him

==========================
This is a poem written by a
great friend that I met the first week on AP
Renovated With Love
You hold me close
I breathe you in
Without warning
Crawling deep within
My heart inflamed
My soul lay bare
Claiming our tomorrow
For us to share
Knowing my sorrow
Feeling my pain
You restore the joy
Putting back the flame
Unconditionally offering
Life and love
Without restrain
Or any blame
Dignity will be regained
Spirits repaired
Love will be shared
Souls replenished
We will embrace
Without losing face
Together as one
Our place in the sun
