Who I am:

I am a Christian Pagan who believes in many things beyond the ordinary.  While I don't expect many to understand my beliefs, I do ask that you respect my right to have such beliefs.  I am ordained as both a minister and a High Priestess.  My spiritual world is my own.


I am simple, though many people tend to think I am full of complexities.  Life is a cycle and we are just part of it.

I live by the laws of Universal Karma.

I also live by the three-fold law.


Over years, I have become a shamanic healer.  I believe many of the concepts of our Native peoples and hold the utmost respect for them.  I am part of the Cherokee tribe as well as the Seminole tribe.


I am also a dream walker; lingering in the shadows of other's dreams.  Interpretting dreams is a fascination to me.

But most of all, I have learned I am now and always will be a studen in this Universe.


I study just to absorb knowledge.

I am a retired nurse; I have studied cosmetology and biochemistry.  I have a Masters in Religion, a Doctorate in Metaphysics and a Doctorate of Divinity.  I am still working on more.

^                                                Her tiny
                                                  finger
                                                  at the
                                                earth
                                              swirls
                                              as she
                                            twirls
              and starts ~              in
        motion.        For what    or
    whom      ~      ~        when    ~
  she    ~                      ~      unfurls    ~
powers  ~                      ~      that bring  ~   
despair and    ~        ~          destruction.  ~     
  Warmth she      desires, but no man is her ~
    mister.  This  Storm  Goddess  her face    ~
        we never see. Susceptible on land by    ~
        tornado or twister, hurricane or cyclone
          is the calamity on the sea. To enter  ~ 
            her vortex looking to her heavenly ~   
                eye, hot lightening blasts clap  ~
                as  my name she calls.  A      ~
                fury of ecstasy is mine      ~
              until the day I die, yet      ~
              peace abounds within    ~   
                her  towering walls.    ~
                Men want to bring  ~
                    her into their  ~
                      submission  ~
                          reduce her
                            power and
                              make her fold.
                                But all I want
                                  now is your
                                    permission
                                      to never  ~
                                        allow  ~

The 2 pictures above are Malachi- our black lab/ Australian shephard mix.  He is a rescue puppy from gas euthanization.  The first picture is at 8 weeks old, when we first brought him home (great birthday present );

and the second picture is him today (5/26/09) right before he turns a year old.

 

The above picture is our newest rescue puppy, also saved from gassing. He is a black lab/(we think) basset hound mix named Orion.  Here is 13 weeks old.  Isn't he cute??  I just love his floppy little ears and the tons of puppy kisses.

 

Life should not be a journey to the grave

with the intentions of arriving in a well preserved body;

but rather...

to skid in sideways; chocolate in one hand,

martini in the other, body thoroughly used up,

worn out, and screaming...

WOOOHOOO- what a ride!
