Well, mostly I'm just workin' my way through life.
I've lived all over the world, but at the moment I live in the Sonoran Desert and I'm a habilitator. For anyone who doesn't know, and it's all right if you don't because I get asked a lot, it means that I teach life skills to people with disabilities. For example, I teach people how to button their shirts or tie their shoes. It's a very rewarding job.
My second job is a bookseller at a book store. It's fun.
I've been writing poetry for fun since about the seventh grade give or take a year. I also enjoy drawing, writing prose and cooking.
On another note, the stone lion picture is not mine. I found it online and it comes from clevermag.com.

Time multiplies in rhyme
Our sister Pixie kind
Never says words unkind.
Even to Pixies few
Living as sisters who
Inquire and giggle to
Our Pixie sister friend
Needs laughter to begin.
Love for Pixie parents
Obviously is very apparent
Viewing StoneLion's sweet prose

StoneLion, a name she chose.

I'm always under the watchful eye of a StoneLions gaze,
even under these dark and gloomy days.
You're always there when I needed someone to talk to,
you're a good friend, and as a friend I love you.
You're a great writer and you always will be,
you opened my eyes when I couldn't see.
You're always there with a quick word to say,
even when I was going through my darkest days.
A true friend to me you've become,
I appreciate it with all of my heart, and then some.
When I had my writer's block you helped me get over it,
even if it was piece by piece, or bit by bit.
You're name implies that you're a lion of stone,
but to me that means on you the sun has always shone.
This is to you StoneLion and revel in it's glory,
and you'll always be the last chapter in my life story.
