I've been writing for a couple years but just recently joined this site. I write structured poetry, rhyme and freeverse.
I tend to be a binge-and-purge poet, if you will, so I come here on an odd schedule. I write for myself usually, but I love challenges, so the contests here are the main reason I like this site.

I have a festering obsession with circuit boards and words that "feel right". "Fester" is one of them, "blatant" isn't. "Recent" is. Maybe I'll make a list some day and get a diagnosis.
