Existing more with the cold frost

Hanging downward the most

First A Few Words...

Hello everyone out there in All Poetry Land.  The land where poets are created! I have been on here for a few months now and have learned so much about poetry and style and LIFE.  I am truly grateful to all of the people on AP, but especially my AP family and friends! Your words in poetry form and personal words to me have brought me a long way and I am ETERNALLY grateful!! I don't know where I would be if I had not had the heartache and heartbreak in my life at the time that led me to this wonderful site. The people here are 2nd to none and I mean that!!!  I look forward to many more great times together.  We need to have an AP Convention!!!!

 

Some Stuff About Me...

Well I have loved  and lost enough to know, love ain't for everybody so I have to choose a little more wisely who I fall in love with!  Life has brought me many challenges but through it all I am and always will be  STILL STANDING!!  However, I must admit, that I am still a work in progress and I am working on loving me a little bit more and being appreciative for the blessings that I do have.  It is a process but I have to get this done to move on with life and love.  In the words of RuPaul "If you can't love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else, can I getta Amen"

 

I write about what is going on in my life at the moment and my life has many up's and down's.  Most of my poetry revolves around relationships and the challenges I face with them.  If you are going through something along these lines give my poetry a read it may help you.  Poetry (reading and writing) is my therapy when I'm losing it! I lose it alot dealing with these relationships of mine, so I should never be without material .

My daughter rocks!! She is a sweet and wonderful young lady with much to say...will you listen? Plus she will really mess you up if you mess with her daddy and I don't lie! Love you Baby Girl!  
And beautiful she is! No longer shattered which thrills me to death! She has been by my side giving me courage to keep writing every since I started on this site.  She never hesitates to comment on my work and give me advice.  Sis, I love you and you will always be beautiful to me! 
Now this young lady writes some fierce words on paper, don't get on her bad side at all.  I love her and the work that she does off of this site is amazing.  She is the truth, don't believe me read her stuff! Sis, you never cease to amaze me with your words love ya!
Afroqban: Brother
Now what do I say about this young man.  He is a true real brother to me. One who accepts me for who I am and provides inspiration and support to me unlike any other poet on this site. If I need points for a contest, I can call on my bro! If I lost my muse I can call on my bro! If I am going through ANYTHING I can call on him and that is priceless. Bro, I don't think you will truly know how much you mean to me and how much your words on this site and in the real world has helped me through! I am thankful for you! And to top it off you are one HELL of a poet!!
Actually she is my twin. We think alike, we both love twisted demented things we hosted our first contest together (had no idea what we were doing, but it turned out nice).  She is awesome all around! If you need a flat panel call on her she got you .  Seriously, I don't know what I would do without you sis, through every relationship trial I been through she was always there "If you need to talk I am here" is what she says. I love you sis, your an awesome poet and friend. Don't think you'll ever get away from me uh uh!
She is actually the newest member of my AP family and I love her dearly.  She always has a kind word to say to start my day.  "How are you today?" means a lot.  Thank you lil sis, I look forward to watching you grow in poetry and life.

    Hey everyone. I thought I would drop a line to let you know what is going on with me. I took a brief hiatus from the site and from writing in general to clear my mind.
