Hello,
I am Jessica and your fellow poet SternBlinkin. I started writing as a means of emotional outlet when I was 11. Since then I've developed a love for the art of poetry as well as many other forms of art: pottery, drawing, painting, yoga, passion, and life.
I feel that creativity is that which enables me to look within my own soul, to cask aside those walls I have built up around myself. And in that quiet space, I can allow those walls to playfully tumble down and allow passion to enter my being, from head to toe, in waves of bliss. ::smiles::
Now-a-days I'm living in CT, attending school, and living with my boyfriend as we create our very own home for the first time. Our own space with our three little white kitties, striving to live off the land in a natural, nurturing way that allows us to ween ourselves away from the modern sociey lifestyle into one that is "the good ol' life."
I also am very please to let everyone know that I have since become involoved in creating a wonderful festival, and encourage everyone to come join us in our third year of Forest Folk: Spirit In the Woods. Come check us out at:
www.forestfolkfest.com
Hope to see you somewhere amongst the leaves.... ::smiles::
Please feel free to dapple through my poetry. Or feel free to send me a comment or message. I love people to hear what people think
Namaste
