Just a little bit about myself:
I have been writing poetry since I was very young, and I am passionate about literature and reading.
I adore the beautiful world around me, and love to be in the countryside. I love to explore new things, and I greatly cherish peace and serenity. I believe that people need to attempt to open their eyes and look around them more; these days, people are so superficial, and care only about the materialistic aspect of life: "Just shut your eyes, and keep your mind wide open." I also believe in true love. If every last thing was to fail, and we feel as if we have lost all that we cherish and hold dear, we must hold onto love. For if we give way to hatred, all else will fail. Yet at times it seems that love, if tainted, is worse than all forms of pain and torture put together: "These violent delights have violent ends, and in their triumph die, like fire and powder, which, as they kiss, consume." ('Romeo and Juliet')

I was reading maddy's site, and was like "Wow...someone on this site who sounds, not emo, intellegent and has some self confidence. Cool!" as a read further and further it seemed odder and odder, because you sounded so familiar, and you knew maddy and louis's name when you had just made an account. then it clicked..KATIE!!! ok so you signing off on your guestbook entree to maddy gave it a way a LITTLE.
