A bird that you set free may be caught again, but a word that escapes your lips will not return.  ~Solomon~

If any man wish to write in a clear style, let him be first clear in his thoughts; and if any would write in a noble style, let him first possess a noble soul.- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Nacreous verse

Today I am more woman than poet.
Today I will cover your lips
with my nacreous kiss
followed by the sea foam whisper
forever kept
in the pink shell
of my love.

~

When I think of you
...

When I speak your name
it flies from my lips
easy
like a bird.
