Honestly just thought I'd find a site to express some of my poetic work (not one of those bastardised paying sites) and this seems as good a niche as any. I don't deny that I'm a poet; but foremost Im a painter and am currently atttending graduate school at London City and Guilds Art School on the subject. I do impressionist works visually and sometimes you'll see it cross to poetics. I was featured not too long ago on gallery Bibbiane (www.gallerybibianne.com/ ) and have been at a few minor exhibitions. I don't paint for the money or the living, rather the satisfaction of it all to me at a level indescribable. All I ask is that you review my work fairly and truthfully. Im not here to solicit your rave, just another poet along for the ride on this mad life.

Hello.
Recently I have decided to hold a
contest as an " Invite only ". I have been reading
your poems for quite awhile and thought this

Sol on August 4, 2005Another great tragedy has befallen our country, this one an existing and ongoing plague. 18 year old college student Anthony Walker of Liverpool was being harrassed by several whites at a bus station on his way home for no other reason than being black.

and eventually was killed for no other reason in the most horrible of ways...
I ask for your thoughts and awareness on the subject of racism, it is an ongoing struggle.
