Greetings and welcome; my name is Sokarjo.

Sokarjo Stormwillow is my pen name. Sokarjo means "she who seeks". I am told it is Anglo-Saxon. When said aloud, the j is pronounced like a y.


I am a passionate, spiritual, sometimes looney person who likes to write poetry and novels, sing (even if I'm not great), read good books (like Jane Austen, JRR Tolkein, Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, and others). I also like to cook and I love good food (my hips prove it!).

Honesty and individuality are the most important qualities to me, in myself as well as in others. I love to laugh, laugh to live, and live to love. At first I am very watery and airy... but a fire burns deep within that usually is revealed only in my poetry. Someday I hope to share that fire with another spirit...
