I am a novice poet. I say this because I haven't wrote
poetry since elementry school. I had wrote a few poems,
in school, one in particular that was hung in the State
House in Boston, Massauchetts my hometown. It was about
Senator Edward Brookes at the time. At this present time
I am writing in free verse style. I plan on writing in
other styles in the near future. I have had a poem
published in a book in 2006 along with other poets. I
have been exposed to poetry from poets such as, Robert
Frost, Edgar Allan Poe, Langston Hughes and T.S. Eliot to
name a few. I like writing all kinds of poetry but have
found that I basically write love poems. So I guess you
can say this is my favorite type of poetry. I am a
Christen and believe that we all are children of God. My
goal is to one day publish a book. I would also like to
meet some famous poets.
