  I thought he loved me
  I thought he loved me but, now I know it
  wasn't true.
  He stole my heart and now I'm blue.
  Doesn't he care about the tears I shed?
  or does he just wish that I were dead.
  One day he loves me, the next he doesn't.
  Why do I care?
  Why do I cry?
  Why do I wish---that I could just hide?
  Would he miss me?
  I'll bet he wouldn't care.
  My heart says that he still does.
  But my head tells me that he's using me.
  I thought he loved me--
  Truth is: I know it wasn't true.
