Words are tiny windows to the soul, the gift we're given to express ourselves. It separates us from animals, and makes us who we are as individuals.. Just like finger prints.
I don't consider myself a poet, just a writer. I write what I feel, when I feel it. If it's pretty, if it's good, I don't much care. Once a poem leaves my system, it tends to stay that way, I am not much for re-editing or revamping.
I am a musician first and fore most. Songs are my passion, and poetry becomes the song, the song becomes the poetry. I play many instruments, and enjoy talking about guitars and tone woods. I am a trained actor, and classical ballet dancer.. I can get funky, hip hop? You bet.
I enjoy meeting new people, and learning new things.
All in all, I am pretty odd and have experienced things some people have, and some people haven't - but no one has experienced them through my eyes. I've moved around a lot, and tried and done a lot of things. I like to think it brings texture to my writing.
