SixOClockShow poetry

I've recorded myself reading several pieces here, so check 'em out if you've any interest: http://www.myspace.com/jmfrancheteau

I am a poet with aspirations to criticism, and I enjoy helping people to look at their poetry objectively in order to do the best work that they can. I am at times blunt in my comments but, as I hope will be obvious, well-meaning. If you want me to help you workshop your stuff a bit, I am usually amenable pending my schedule. And if you want to read my own work and give me some response, well, I'll probably just adore you forever.

NOTE: I'm not big on this website's 'points' system as it seems to me to be a kind of bribery. I don't rate comments made on my poetry, nor do I give those little clappy things. But as I said, I try to give you the most useful thoughts that I have when I write on your work, and I do my best to take to heart any suggestions you have for mine.

Cheers!
- JM

P.S.: This is a visual and audio culture blog I have to write for school. Check it out if you like wrestling with the vipers of post-modern theory... http://theuniversalmagnetic.wordpress.com/
