I have been writing ever since I can remember. My scribblings were found everywhere and I would (and still do) write anywhere and everywhere as fancy takes me, my favorite atmosphere for writing being a boring lecture in college.I am fun loving, vivacious and an incurable dreamer. My poems have been published in Women's Era magazine of India, SAWF, Aupublishing etc. I work as the joint editor of boloji teens and hope to be a published author sometime in the near future.
I mostly write about people and emotions governing their life. Anything that touches me finds way in my poem. You can read my poems at
www.indianest.com/writer/smitha.htm
or log on to www.sawf.org and look for Smitha V
I would love to receive frank and constructive criticism.feedback from my readers. You can write to me at simi_1428 at hotmail dot com. Sorry for being so paranoid but I get a lot of junk
I am the latest recruit at the Allpoetry School. I will be holding the short story writing class. I won't say "teaching" because I see it more as a guidance, the students will work on the guidelines I proivde and teach themselves.
Each student will pick a story to work with throughout the course of the class. We will start at the roots that is the plotting of the story. I am not adhering to any specific genre, you may pick whatever you feel comfortable with. At the end of the class, you will have a really good short story in your hands and a set of guidelines to help you write all of your future ones.
You can apply to the short story class, by clicking on the link below
