 My name is Mary .

I have been writing for a few years now, and I've learned so much from alot of the poets here on AP. This is the best site I know of to practice and educate yourself on the art of poetry writing. I am far from considering myself an honest to goodness poet, but I am far better than I was just a few short years ago, thanks to some wonderful poet/friends here. I've met the kindest and truly honest people here and I wouldn't trade this poetry site for any other!!!

I'll do my best to show integrity, honesty, kindness and compassion to my fellow poets here on AP.

I promise to give to other's here, what I am in need of myself...ENCOURAGEMENT.. to be individuals first, poets next.

I want to give a BIG thank you to  Freed by Mercy (Joyce) for designing my new page!! Joyce you're a REAL sweetheart!! She does beautiful graphic designs.

I have a wonderful friend, EARS2HEARYOU  (Kathleen) who surprised me with (3) months of GOLD MEMBERSHIP!!! I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE SUCH A SWEETHEART OF A FRIEND Thank you always Kathleen!!! When nothing can make me laugh or smile. Kathleen you can. I love the laughs and fun we've had together here on AP!!!

Toni (talkingtoni) you are a real blessing in my life girl!! thank you for all the talks and encouragement you've sent my way. I have enjoyed knowing you and getting to know your kind sweet heart for others!! You are a jewel in this world.

Rose (roseangel) I'm so glad that I know you, you are such a joy to know. time can go by and we not talk, but never is a time we cannot catch up!!

I owe so many here on AP much gratitude for teaching me how to be a better writer and open up and try new and bolder things in poetry!!!

I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that the Bible is the Living Word of God. I believe when I say I believe in the Lord, it means living it and speaking it also.

My prayer here is... that if I, in any way fail to represent the Faith that I profess..someone honest and truly caring, will point it out to me, in a kind and gentle manner. My intention is never to offend any other believer (or potential believer) by my actions or words.
