I'm basically an Urdu poet, composing Urdu poems since 1959.
I've got three published books:
1. 'Barf ki Ragen' (The Veins of Ice), Urdu poems, was awarded Abaseen Arts Council Award
2. 'Phool Khilay Ya Na Khilay' (The Flowers May or May Not Blossom), Urdu poems
3. 'Narm Shagoofay' (Tender Blossoms), Urdu poems for children.
The fourth book of poetry,'Charagh Gul Na Karo' (Don't Extinguish the Lamp) is going to be published shortly.
I've written two novels for children. I've also written a large number of Urdu Short Stories.
I started writing English poems in 2006.
I'm a Muslim, and firmly believe in the necessity of PEACE around the globe.
I'm married with two daughters and a son, one grandson and one granddaughter.
I live in Kohat, a historical city of Pakistan, and teach at university.
