Hello. I assume that you are here to see some of my poetry, or some random stuff about me. You're in the right place to do both though... so here you go.
My name is Victoria. My favorite thing ever is music. I play the piano, and am getting better, but nothing special yet.
I also listen to music, rather obsessively. It can, nearly always, put me in a better mood. I don't feel like listing everything I like here and stuff is always being added, but if you're curious you can message me and I'll be glad to tell you.
I read a ton. I'm not going to bore you with my list of favorite books. If you want to know though, feel free to ask.
And I now have an extremely tiny AP family
Freaky yet awesome older sister:
Luckintheshadows"
And my AP and real-life mom is e911, you should read her poetry, even though she doesn't believe in rhyme.
I'm trying to convert her.
I will mostly always return comments, unless I forget, which I usually don't let myself. I have a few comfort zones in my poetry that I don't branch out from too much. I always rhyme (except for one free-verse I HATE a lot. Don't bring it up,
)
I figured I'd list what's what with the exception of my early stuff. I'm not happy with where I was as a poet then, and though I'm not great yet either, even I can see an improvement. I also excluded the ones I really despise (aside from the free-verse one) because I don't want to encourage anyone else reading them.
Thanks Topnotchsy for coding help!
Rhyming Humor. Some aren't that funny, but were meant to be jokes, so this is where they're going, whether you like it or not.
:
Mitosis
Sadie
Ode to a Doorknob
Soccer Pains
English Test
Free-Verse
The Dim-witted Genius
NCIS
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
A Knock at the Door
Rhyming Horror(the first two are twisted nursery rhymes):
Nursery Chryme
Mary, Mary Quite contrary
Shadow
A drink to die for
A frightening Tale
Last 'til Dawn
Fear
Pursuit
The Light
General Life, the dime a dozen poems that have to do with feelings and life situations, and stuff. Though I'm rarely feeling what I write:
Writer's Block
Summer'sGoodbye
Angry? No
A dream
Insomniac Musician
We'll make it
Forget
Memories of you
The Day that they met
Descriptive or contemplative. These one's are the ones I always wonder about when I finish writing them. They're either thinking in rhyme about something, or contemplating. I can't really explain it, but I group them together in my head, so here they are. These are the one's that were out of my comfort zone at first, and now have become a comfort zone of their own:
Untitled
Never Say
Where Heartache conquers grace
View
stars
You've never known
Last and most definitely least, my free-verse poem. Which I completely hate. I'm a rhymer at heart. Would They Approve?
There are a few more I can tolerate not listed here, I'm not sure why. Maybe I'll get to it one day, I just couldn't figure out a category they went in.
I am a born-again, Bible-believing Christian and so glad to be one. I won't be rude if your beliefs differ from mine, but don't expect me to convert to them.
I'm trying to write as much as I can, and have a couple things in the works, but don't expect a lot.

e911 : yes... she is only 14 going on 40 on February 19I am only on here in pursuit of my daughter's best interests. She is constantly chatting about the friends she has on here and the talent she reads, so I figured I would sign up. What I found... is that an incredible poet has been living in my house.
