I'm Michelle or as I prefer - Shelly
To me, writing poems is way better than talking.
It's easier for me to write than talk, I hate letting my emotions out. And I HATE crying in front of people so I write in the privacy of my own time and space. I seem to always only write if I'm in an empty house or if everyone else is asleep.. Sometimes though, I'll write during English class where there are so many people I may as well be alone...

I ALWAYS read. I read everyday, normally at night in bed, I find it hard to read unless I'm lying down.. haha. I have read since I could, before school I think. I still have my favourite book from when I was a toddler and from that I proceeded onto Roald Dahl, who I regard as one of the best writers of fiction that lived.
I haven't necessarily got a favourite author, but I really love Roald Dahl, including his short stories, The Great Automatic Grammatizator and other stories.
And, the stereotypical teenage cliché: JD Salinger.
I prefer Seymour: An Introduction by Salinger to his other stuff..
I wish Seymour was still alive..
One of my favourite books of all time is Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder and I have recently introduced myself to the beats..
Such a Pretty Girl by Laura Weiss is written so EXCELLENTLY
I found NOTHING about it I didn't like.
Allen Ginsberg's poetry... excellent.
Poetry and books aren't the only things that I'm interested in...
I LOVE movies too.
Mostly horrors and Tim Burton is my favourite director because the visuals he uses are AMAZING!
By the way,
my background picture is one of Victoria Francés'
I think that she is SUCH a talented artist, anyone who reads this and is into dark art and weird art
check her out!
And Mark Ryden!
Eh, I'm just gonna leave you to think about what I've said, and maybe it'll give you some tiny insight into what is behind my poems..
Enjoy!
