I enjoy reading science fiction, horror, crime thrillers, romances and poetry. I don't really like autobiographies or anything by any political figure.
My poetry is mostly free-style. I never know how a poem will look or sound until it is finished. Some of my work has been published before: in a local newsletter, the regional paper and by two main poetry organisations in the UK. I first started writing when I was 13 as a means of escapism and it is still the same way today.
My favourite poet is William Butler Yeats.
You will find, those of you who have read my poems, that I am very reluctant to share what I have written in public. In many ways I fear rejection, but in another respect I am not used to sharing. I have not written a lot of material over the last couple of years. In fact, I seem to write less and less. I have become very lackadaisical in that I do not write down any inspiring thoughts or ideas anymore, which I could use in the future. So, if you are waiting for new material: I am afraid that it will be a long time coming. I believe that my earliest poems are my best. I'll let you all be the judge of that! :-D
